Multi Level marketing, or MLM, has manifested itself into a contemporary home business model after several decades of proving itself to skeptics and naysayers. This MLM review will uncover exactly why MLM has advanced to one of the top business opportunities of 2010..
. at least that is what many believe…
Back in the day, those promoting an MLM opportunity would have to first contact, then give presentations to, those, who for the most part, had absolutely no interest in hearing about how to make money at home. I remember having a work colleague actually invite himself over so he could give me his Amway spiel. It was embarrassing for both parties and seeing how he operated his business I knew without a shadow of a doubt that I would never be able to run a business like that. I just was not the “sales type” (even though he insisted it was not sales…).
Flash forward a decade or two. The internet becomes part of our every day life and no longer are those promoting the latest MLM network marketing opportunity confined to the “3 foot rule”, that is giving a sales pitch to anyone within 3 feet of you, all the while trying to convince yourself that you are the answer to their prayers (you just have to pound that fact in their thick skulls).
It doesn’t take too many rejections and outright alienation to learn that MLM is not for everyone! Indeed, it makes far more sense to advertise on the internet to attract only those with a true passion for learning how to make more money.
MLM does work. It has been proven to be a viable money making small business enterprise. It does not require strong sales ability, and in fact those who just act like their natural selves tend to be the most successful and build the largest downline organizations.
While I don’t want to make this review of MLM become discouraging, I just want to point out that like any marketing effort, you only get results based on time tested marketing principles. Namely allowing your target audience to see your offer on a consistent basis.
